Nestled in the heart of Scottsdale, AZ, Dolce Events offers a breathtaking venue that promises to make your special day unforgettable. With a blend of modern design and attention to detail, this venue is dedicated to making your wedding dreams come true.

I had a chance to go to tour this amazing venue and here’s what I think.

Reception Space

The reception area at Dolce Events is nothing short of spectacular. With space to accommodate up to 250 of your guests, the venue boasts a modern design that can be customized to match your vision. The grand space will give you and your planner tons of flexibility to bring your vision to life, thou I would say this venue work best for a more sophisticated luxury beauty and a touch of modern, and definitely not a rustic farm house vibe.

Cocktail Space

Honestly super charming and very vibrant. the space is a bit smaller than the reception space but I really like small cocktail space because it forces everyone to socialize and interact. Definitely hit up the bar because the bartender here make great drinks

Groom & Bridal Suite

This is one of the prettiest bridal suite i’ve ever seen. and i’ve seen a lot of them. I’d say the suite can hold up to 10 bridesmaids comfortably The space doesn’t feel like an after thought like some venues. Groom suite is a bit smaller than bridal suite can hold up to 7 groomsman, same concept as the bridal suite

Some might argue for the lack of natural light in these rooms but the white wall and ceiling make the room feel bright this would work very well with bright and airy style photo. if you want more dark and moody this might not be ideal. but as someone who lean toward darker tone style myself, i’m not too worry since I know how to light the space with off-camera flash in order to create shape and depth.

Ceremony Space

Outdoor ceremony spot at Dolce Event is very charming. a sunny patio, festoon lights above, a floral-decorated aisle leading to a rustic wooden arch, and lush greenery on the walls. From a photographer perspective, this can be a bit of a challenge to grab photo from the side for reaction shots, to combat this is to make sure your photographer has a 200mm lens so he/she can shoot from the back and/or have common sense to not stand in front of the guest during ceremony THE ENTIRE TIME. If you’re a photographer reading this, get your shot and get out of the view. The guests aren’t there to see you.

My Recommendation

Space management

As of right now, don’t invite too many people to your ceremony. The outside area can accommodate 150 people so if you invite 250 people for ceremony because the reception can hold 250, it will be chaotic. instead, have a smaller ceremony then invite people to reception. Bring fun friends because there are tons of space and we gotta fill up those dance floor!

Photo opportunity

The cocktail area is an amazing place for photo but you’d have to do that before the guests arrive because after the ceremony your guests will have to occupied the space. or hit up different spot for portraits, i recommend the butterfly museum.

Why Choose Dolce Events

The best thing about Dolce Events in Scottsdale, AZ, is probably not what you expect.

It’s the experience.

What makes this venue special is the people behind it. The owner is one of the most passionate person I know. He deeply care about his clients. A story that i’d like to share… one of the couple ordered an Amazon flower that didn’t really look great so the owner ordered real flowers and replaced them without asking for anything in return. The owner is also working on expanding the space to accommodate more people at ceremony and cocktail hour because he wants a better flow for the guests.

It’s the attention to details and the dedication to serve that resonate with me.

Does Dolce Events has the most epic mountain view in AZ? maybe not, but they have some of the most dedicated team that work there. I believe that it’s about the people than the place that makes your experience. So if you’re the type of couple that value premium experience, go with this one
